Young soccer talents in Thompson have one last shot to represent the North on home turf, as the Thompson Junior Soccer Association (TJSA) announces the final tryout for the 2026 Manitoba Winter Games Futsal team.

According to the call-out posted yesterday, the association is looking for boys born in 2011 and 2012 to fill the roster. The tryout is scheduled for this coming Saturday, January 10, running from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the TRCC Gymnasium.

Making History Organizers are encouraging everyone eligible to “come be part of something special,” noting that this tournament marks a historic milestone: it is the first time Futsal will be played in the Manitoba Games.
