Go Green: City Launches Paperless Water Billing Option - AI Generated Image
Thompson homeowners can now say goodbye to mailbox clutter, as the City officially rolls out a new digital delivery system for water bills.
According to a notice released today, Thursday, January 15, 2026, the City of Thompson Water and Wastewater Utility is now offering a “paperless water bill option” for all customers.
How It Works: Residents who sign up will have their quarterly water bills emailed directly to them instead of waiting for a physical copy to arrive via Canada Post. To make the switch, users simply need to fill out an online form providing a few key details:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Account type (Personal or Business).
Need Help? For those who have trouble with the online form or have questions about the process, the City has directed inquiries to the Utility Clerk. You can reach them at 204-677-7950 or via email at utility@thompson.ca.
