Young architects and creative minds in Thompson are being summoned to the stacks this weekend, as the Thompson Public Library issues a “last call” for its returning LEGO Build event.

According to a notice posted yesterday, the popular program is making its return tomorrow, Saturday, January 10, 2026, running from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.. Organizers warn that space is limited and spots are filling up fast for this free activity.

Build a Masterpiece: The event is open to all children ages 4 and up. Participants are invited to come in, use the library’s collection of small LEGO bricks, and construct a “masterpiece”.

The best part? You don’t have to tear it down immediately. The library has announced that completed creations will be put on display for all visitors to see.

How to Secure a Spot: With limited space available, parents are urged to sign up immediately. Registration can be done by calling 204-677-3717 or by visiting the front desk in person.
