The Thompson Public Library has released its holiday schedule, reminding residents to stock up on reading materials before a week-long closure starting today, December 23.

According to the announcement, the library will be closed from Tuesday, December 23 through Saturday, December 27. This closure means patrons will not have access to library services during the Christmas week.

The library is scheduled to reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, December 30. However, hours will be adjusted for New Year’s Eve, with the facility open only from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31. The library will then close again on Thursday, January 1, for New Year’s Day.

Patrons are encouraged to visit the library before the closure to check out books and other materials to last them through the holiday break.
