Thompson Public Library Launches Adult Book Club in November - AI Generated Image
The Thompson Public Library is starting a new book club for adults this fall, offering a chance for readers to connect, share their favourite books, and build a community of book lovers.
The first meeting will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the library. The program is open to anyone aged 18 and older, and all are welcome to join.
Library staff explained that an earlier start date had to be postponed due to an unexpected closure, but the new schedule is now confirmed. The opening session will give participants the opportunity to meet one another, exchange ideas, and help shape the direction of the club. Organizers say the group can be as “serious or fun as we want as we go,” leaving flexibility for members to decide on the format.
The initiative is part of the library’s broader efforts to create community programming and spaces for residents to engage with one another.
