
Thompson RCMP Seek Public Assistance Locating Shyanne Dorion Feb 23
The Thompson RCMP are requesting public help to find 25-year-old Shyanne Dorion, who has been missing since the evening of February 19, 2026. Authorities received a report of her disappearance from an address on McGill Place after she failed to return home, and investigators are now looking for any information that could lead to her whereabouts.
Aboriginal Alert first shared the notice following an official report to the Thompson RCMP at approximately 11:10 p.m. on Thursday night. Dorion was last seen earlier that evening around 7:00 p.m.
Dorion is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds. She has black hair and black eyes, though no clothing description was provided at the time of the report.
Police and community organizations are asking residents to check their properties and review any available surveillance footage from the McGill Place area recorded on the night of February 19. Public tips are often critical in resolving missing person cases in Northern Manitoba.
